Join us  with the Edelman Fossil Park and Museum to learn about dinosaurs and some of EFM's famous fossils found right on the property. (Y) Teen Night: Paint and Plant

For ages 13–17

Join us for a special night just for older teens. Each participant will receive a planter to paint and a live succulent to pot and take home. It’s a relaxed, creative evening—perfect for unwinding, hanging out, and making something uniquely yours.

Space is limited to 15 teens, and registration is required. A librarian will email you the day before to confirm your spot in the program.

(T) Design Your Own Henna Tattoo

Ages 11 to 14.

Join us at the Bellmawr Library for Henna tattoos! Learn about Henna’s healing and cosmetic properties, and about traditional henna tattoo designs. Design your own henna tattoo, after which a professional face and body artist will apply your tattoo using organic henna paste. Registration is required for this program. Registration will open on Wednesday 7/22 at 10:00 A.M., and close on Monday 8/3 at 9:00 P.M. or whenever the registration list becomes full, whichever occurs first.

This program is presented by Wildflower Body Art.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.

(A) Drawing for Grown-Ups: Summer Vacation Day at the Beach Drawing

Adults. Drawing for Grown-Ups covers drawing fundamentals like line, value, form, composition, negative space, and color. Students are not required to have attended previous Drawing for Grown Ups courses. This beginner friendly course is part of the Drawing for Grown Ups series hosted by Jen Tracy, professional illustrator. Students are not required to have attended previous Drawing for Grown Ups courses.

This all levels drawing class for adults will teach the relaxing practice of drawing from life using a summer vacation items as reference. Students will draw colorful summer day at the beach items using their own art supplies or the art supplies provided.
