Join author Dr. Carla Weis as she discusses overcoming life's challenges and her book, The Power of Moving Forward: Seeing Alchemy in Life.

Dr. Weis's book is autobiographical in nature and told through the lens of Alchemy. (Alchemy has 7 stages and there are 7 chapters, one for each stage.) It is based on her experience using the power of alchemical transformation to overcome life’s challenges and adversity. It also touches on universal spirituality and applying ancient wisdom to navigate life. Her intention and purpose is to uplift people and provide inspiration for their own personal growth and transformation.

Dr. Weis was born in Camden, grew up in Haddonfield and spent 10 years in Bellmawr raising her children. She received her M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed an internship year in Medicine-Pediatrics, completed a residency in Pediatrics, and a Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at CHOP. She practiced as a hospital-based physician for nearly 30 years, caring for the smallest of patients and their families in NICUs across the country. Since 2011, Dr. Weis has received advanced spiritual training from the Modern Mystery School. She is a certified Healer, Teacher and Guide in the lineage of King Salomon and owner of Sacred Vibrations, LLC.

Dr. Weis worked as both a clinician and a research scientist, having many academic publications in the field of Pediatrics, Neonatology, and Pulmonology, speaking at many scientific conferences, as well as co-authoring two chapters in a very prominent and well-respected Neonatology textbook. On several occasions, she has traveled to Zimbabwe with Operation of Hope to volunteer her services for mothers and newborns. Dr. Weis is the foreword author for the book, “Ancient Healings, Modern Miracles”.

She now focuses her time on assisting and guiding others in their own spiritual progression, creating a sacred and safe space for all. She believes that life is meant to be lived, and that realizing your own true potential is part of thriving as a spiritual and physical being. She has five daughters and four grandchildren, and lives in Huntington Beach, CA.
