Monster Story Flash Fiction Workshop

This program teaches young writers how to use monster metaphors. It begins with a flash fiction prompt and a short brainstorming session. An interactive lesson about monster history and metaphors is provided along with how to use monster stories to talk about topics that are important to you. After this, we return to the prompt with some additional guiding questions. The participants will have a chance to draft their stories and share at the end if they wish.
