(T) Good Skin Knowledge; Love the skin you’re in!
Saturday, November 14, 2026 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages 9 - 17
In a world filled with filters, social media, and unrealistic beauty standards, it can be hard to feel confident in your own skin. Join us for an engaging and supportive workshop that encourages tweens and teens to celebrate what makes them unique while building self-esteem and resilience.
In this one-hour program, you will:
- Discuss self-esteem and confidence
- Share ways to build self-esteem
- Explain how to help friends who are being bullied
- Understand social media is not a true depiction of reality
This program will be led by Riya Khokhal, a medical student at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine who is currently completing a dedicated research year in dermatology at Cooper University Health Care. Through her medical training and research experiences, she has developed a strong interest in dermatology, skin health, and education. Riya enjoys sharing practical, science-based skincare information and is excited to teach children healthy habits that support lifelong skin health. She hopes to empower children to appreciate and love the skin they are in by promoting confidence, self-care, and a positive relationship with their skin.
Join us in Meeting Room C, Third Floor.
