In this Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables: Fiber lesson, we will discuss an essential and often-underrated nutrient: fiber! We will discuss the benefits of fiber, where to find it, and how to make healthy, budget-friendly recipes that are full of fiber. This program will include a recipe demonstration, taste test, and free gift giveaway! Presented by Rutgers Cooperative Extension and the NJ SNAP-Ed grant.

Teens Age 13 - 17  Allison Kissel of Desserts by Allison teaches the art of decorating cupcakes with a summer theme. Participants will leave with cupcakes highlighting the skills they have learned.  Allergy concerns?  Please feel free to bring three or four of your own cupcakes if you have allergy concerns.  Allison uses a basic butter cream for icing. *Space will be limited to 15 teens* Please register using a valid email address. The librarian will send you an email asking for a reply to confirm your attendance. *
