(K) La Hora del Cuento (Spanish Story Time)

For both English and Spanish speakers age 0-5. Join us for a fun and interactive Spanish Story Time! Children and their families will enjoy and learn through imitation of songs, rhymes, verses, stories, movements and hand-on activities while celebrating the Spanish language and Latin American culture. This program will contribute to the integral development of children, cultivating growth in imagination and meaningful exploration.

Ven y disfruta de una divertida e interactiva hora del cuento en Español! Los niñas y sus familias disfrutarán y aprenderán a través de la imitación de caciones, rimas, versos, cuentos, bailes y actividades prácticas mientras celebramos el idioma Español y la cultura Latino Americana. Este programa contribuirá al desarollo integral de Los niños, cultivando el crecimiento de la imaginación y la exploración significativa.

(A) Mosaic Trivet Workshop (2nd Session)

Adults. Presented by Tara Bach. This two-session, hands-on workshop introduces adults to the art of mosaic design through the creation of a decorative and functional trivet. Participants will learn basic mosaic techniques including design planning, tile placement, adhesive application, and grouting. Each participant will complete a finished mosaic trivet while exploring color, pattern, and composition in a supportive, step-by-step environment. This is the second session of a workshop that takes place over the course of two sessions (7/18 & 7/25) - please plan to attend both.

(K,F) Dinos on the Go with Edelman Fossil Park

Ages 3 and up. Join us  with the Edelman Fossil Park and Museum to learn about dinosaurs and some of EFM's famous fossils found right on the property. This program includes a lesson from a scientist, an opportunity to touch real fossils and specimens, and an activity station.
Space is limited, so registration is required.

(T) Basic Self Defense for Tweens

Ages 11 to 14

Come join us at the Bellmawr Library for a night of fun! In this program, participants will learn basic self-defense in a safe and relaxed environment! Make sure to dress in something that is comfortable and easy to move around in! Registration is required for this program. Registration for this event will open on Monday 7/13 at 10:00 A.M. and close on Saturday 7/25 7/20 at 9:00 P.M. or when the registration list is full, whichever occurs first.

This program is presented by Tae Kwon Do Academy.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.
