(A) Antar Mouna (Inner Silence) Meditation
Saturday, July 29, 2023 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Antara Mouna is the practice of inner silence focuses on thoughts as the object of attention. It aims to internalize the senses so that we can observe the thoughts and underlying structure of the mind. We start one sense at a time with hearing first, then move to sight, smell, touch and taste then we move on to observing the thoughts. Fully explored in each sense, this process will get you to a deep abiding, calm and clarity of mind. This has several stages of deep inner silence. In this practice we will only focus on the beginning stages (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3). Presented by Shaila Komar of the Bihar School of Yoga.
Attendees are asked to bring their own mat or towel.
