The presentation, led by Dr. Dana Ehret, Curator of Natural History for the New Jersey State Museum, explores New Jersey’s 500-million-year fossil record and the various plants and animals that once lived in our state. Dr. Ehret discusses the "Bone Wars"—the famous feud between paleontologists Cope and Marsh that began in southern New Jersey—and our state dinosaur, Hadrosaurus foulkii. The talk is supported by both casts and real fossils from the museum's collection.
