(A) Community Reentry Book Club
Wednesday, August 12, 2026 7 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.
This group is a partnership between the library and the Camden County Reentry Committee. We read and discuss books by and about individuals who have been impacted by time incarcerated in jails, prisons, or detention, as well as books about the history, politics, and geography of systems of incarceration. We spend two months with each book, beginning the first month by reading aloud together and discussing the first one or two chapters.
This month, we'll embark on our next book by reading together the first section of The Many Lives of Mama Love: A Memoir of Lying, Stealing, Writing and Healing by Lara Love Hardin. We'll conclude our discussion of this title at our session in September.
Copies to keep will be available (first come, first served).
