Bellmawr
(A) Library Staff Connection: Sewing Machines 101 with DIY Potholders
Wednesday, December 2, 2026 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO LIBRARY EMPLOYEES ONLY.
Calling all library staff of South Jersey/surrounding areas! Have you ever wanted to learn to use a sewing machine but didn’t know where to start? Come and join us at the Bellmawr library for a night of learning to use a sewing machine (and making a functional potholder!), learning how to have your own sewing program, and connecting with other library employees! All materials (including sewing machines) are provided. Because space and supplies are limited, registration is required for this program. Registration is open now, and will close on Monday 11/30 at 9:00 P.M. or whenever the registration list becomes full, whichever occurs first.
Note: This program is open to library staff only. Library staff can be from any library, whether that be within the Camden County Library System or outside the system (heck, even outside the state if you want to come on by!)! The aim of this program is to foster community for library staff while building new skills!
Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.
