Ages 14 to 18.

Come join us at the Bellmawr Library for a teen craft night! In this program, we are going to make frog shaped bookmarks from felt! This craft requires small amounts of sewing, which will be taught in the program. Due to limited supplies, registration is required for this program. Registration will open on Monday 10/19 at 10:00 A.M., and close on Friday 10/30 at 9:00 P.M. or whenever the registration list becomes full, whichever occurs first.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.

Teens and adults ages 15 and up. Craft & Chat is a relaxed, social crafting program for teens and adults. Each month, we’ll work on a different simple project while chatting and connecting with others. No prior experience needed—just come ready to create, relax, and enjoy good company. Registration is required.

This month's project: Painted Glass Art! Using templates, we'll create beautiful, easy-to-make works of art that look great hanging on a wall.

(T) Made by Me! Fiber Fairies

Ages 9 - 13 Let your imagination take flight as you create a one-of-a-kind Fiber Fairy! In this hands-on workshop, tweens will use colorful wool roving, fabric scraps, and yarn to design and craft their own unique fairy friend. No two fairies will be alike, making each creation a special work of art to take home.

The best part? No sewing or previous crafting experience is needed. The only skill you'll need is the ability to tie simple knots! We'll provide all the materials and guidance needed to transform a collection of fibers into a whimsical fairy filled with personality and charm.

Join us for an afternoon of creativity, imagination, and fiber art fun!

(Y) Teen Scene: Needle-Felted Fall Gourds

Ages 14 - 17 Celebrate the season by creating your own cozy fall décor! In this workshop, teens will learn the art of needle felting as they transform soft wool roving into colorful autumn gourds. Using a special felting needle, participants will repeatedly poke the wool, encouraging the fibers to bind together and take shape.

This relaxing and rewarding fiber art technique allows you to sculpt unique textures, colors, and patterns, making each gourd a one-of-a-kind creation. No previous experience is necessary, but participants should be comfortable handling a sharp needle and following safety instructions.

Join us to explore this popular fiber art form and create a handmade decoration that's perfect for welcoming fall!

Please note that this is a Teen Space program. Younger siblings may not attend the workshop but are welcome to enjoy coloring sheets and paper crafts in the library outside the program area.
