(Y) Axolotl Pride Craft

Ages 13 - 18 The smiliest of all sea creatures is coming to your library for Pride Month!

Learn how to sculpt an axolotl from oven-bake clay and wrap it in a Pride scarf of your choosing!  This 90‑minute program teaches attendees how to sculpt a miniature polymer‑clay axolotl. Pride‑themed clay scarves will be available, and participants can mix custom colors to match any Pride flag not represented.

The first hour is dedicated to step‑by‑step sculpting instruction. At the one‑hour mark, figurines are baked for 15 minutes. During this time, attendees can color blank axolotl prints using markers or colored pencils in their Pride colors.

After baking, participants will package their finished axolotls in small favor boxes lined with tissue paper matching their chosen Pride flag.

Space and supplies are limited to 15. Registration is required.
