(K) NEW: Way of the Warrior: Yoga for Kids

Ages 6-12. Come bend, breathe, and stretch with Project Little Warriors! We offer yoga and mindfulness classes for youth, combining movement, breathwork, intention-setting, and a short activity to support emotional regulation, confidence, and both physical and mental well-being. Each class is accessible to all levels and designed to help students build practical tools for stress relief and self-awareness. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat or a towel to practice on. Registration is required.

Ages 11 to 14.

Come join us at the Bellmawr Library for a tween craft night! In this program, we will turn pressed flowers into our very own stickers! Registration is required for this program. Registration for this event will open on Wednesday 7/15 at 10:00 A.M. and close on Monday 7/27 at 9:00 P.M. or when the registration list is full, whichever occurs first.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.

Show off your harvest this year at our produce show! Ribbons will be awarded 1st-3rd for each class and 2 Best in Show will receive a gift card to Dambly’s Garden Center.

(F) Musical Instrument Petting Zoo

All ages. Join us for an open house musical petting zoo for children! Stop by the library between 10:30 am - 12:00 pm to take part in this interactive exhibit that features acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles, keyboards, and dozens of percussion instruments for kids of all ages to touch and play. Presented by Keep Music Alive.

Registration isn't required, but you will receive reminder emails if you do!

This program will take place in the open space to the left of the Children's Department.

Ages 9 - 14. Learn about the art environments of Philadelphia's Magic Gardens and others like it around the world. Then construct your own mini-art environment by using our fun collection of found objects (colorful wood pieces, toys, beads, and much more) to create a one-of-a-kind sculpture. Presented by Philadelphia Magic Gardens. Registration is required.

Come join us at the Bellmawr library for a tween craft night! In this program, we will be making perler beads! Supplies will also be provided to turn them into magnets or keychains. Registration recommended but not required. Registration will open on Monday 7/20 at 10:00 A.M., and close on Saturday 8/1 at 9:00 P.M. or whenever the registration list becomes full, whichever occurs first.

(Ages 9-12) Naturalist Debbie Hadley of Wild Jersey leads a fun hands-on geode program.  You’ll take a look inside some real crystal geodes and talk about how they form. Then make your own borax crystal geodes from seashells!
