(A) Online Chair Yoga 55+ (8 Week Series)

Eight week online chair yoga series.

Start with the ease and comfort of chair yoga and venture a bit into other long-respected wellness approaches, such as meditation and acupressure points, online and in the comfort of your own home. Designed to accommodate people with many physical restrictions, you will leave class feeling more relaxed and energetic. All you need is a sturdy, armless straight back chair. This is an eight week series and registrants are encouraged to attend all eight classes. Classes are scheduled weekly  at 11:00 am from Monday, September 8th through October 6th, Tuesday October 14th, and Monday October 27th and November 3rd. Register for the first session and you will be registered for all eight sessions. This is a virtual program. Zoom invitations will be sent the morning of the workshop or the day before. Class instructor Teddy Piotrowski, RN, is a Board Certified Holistic Nurse, a Nationally Certified Asian Bodywork Therapist, and a Certified Yoga Therapist in private practice for over twenty years.

(A) Nailed It Night: Collaborative Edition

In this collaborative edition of our "Nailed It! Night" program, we will be cutting a painting into "pixels." Each participant will receive a pixel and a mini square canvas to recreate it to the best of their ability. At the end, we will put the pixels back together to see how accurately the artwork has been recreated.

This is a great course for anyone just getting started in their technology journey. This computer class offers a friendly and supportive environment that will allow for opportunities to practice new skills and ask questions.

(A) Yoga for Adults

Yoga is offered on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat (or something close to it), a yoga block if you have one, and a small blanket to cover yourself while we're in relaxation. All levels are welcome, including no experience! Floor space is limited and will be first come, first serve.

(F) Drop-In Chess Afternoon

Ages 9 - Adult Join us for a relaxed afternoon of chess! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, you’re welcome to drop in and enjoy some friendly games. Feel free to bring your own chess set or use one of ours from the library. All skill levels are welcome, so come and have fun while sharpening your chess skills! (This is not an instructional class) Parents ​​​​​​​/ Caregivers are required to remain with their child while they participate in the event.
