(A) New Jersey - Crossroads of the American Revolution

Adult.

As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, join local historian Jim Segrave-Daly for a lively discussion about the pivotal role that New Jersey played.  With more than 90 military engagements in the state during the Revolution, actions taken by Loyalists & Patriots contributed greatly to America's ultimate victory.  Strategically located between British-controlled New York & the Continental capital of Philadelphia, South Jersey was critical to controlling the Delaware River & supplying both armies, especially during the Philadelphia Campaign of 1777.

Jim (thelocalhistorygeek.com) has presented to libraries & civic organizations nationwide.  He is an active member of the Radnor Historical Society, American Revolution Roundtable of Philadelphia, America250PADelco, Founding Forward, & a volunteer history teacher.
