(Y) Teen Scene: Sewing Scrap Monsters

ages 14 - 17  Turn fabric scraps into a one-of-a-kind monster that's weird, wild, creepy, cute, or somewhere in between. Using simple hand-sewing techniques, you'll design and create a unique creature that's perfect for clipping to your backpack, tote bag, or keychain. We provide the fabric, felt, and supplies. You bring the imagination. No sewing experience is necessary. In fact, the quirky stitches, unexpected details, and happy accidents make each monster more original. Please note that this is a Teen Space program. Younger siblings may not attend the workshop but are welcome to enjoy coloring sheets and paper crafts in the library outside the program area.
