(A) The Career Resilience Workshop: Week 1 Deepening and Sustaining Connections
Thursday, July 7, 2022 6 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
This workshop series will focus on the needs of individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking to transition to another career that is more fulfilling. This is an interactive workshop in which participants will work individually and in groups as instructed by the facilitator to build community and make connections; all important aspects to manage and develop opportunities within the post-pandemic job market.
Topics each week will range from critical reflection and resilience to self-care while job seeking. Finally, we will delve into planning, exploring, and engaging in the job search with useful tips on navigating change through self-awareness. Attending all five workshops will provide maximum benefit to the job seeker by providing invaluable information that is both aspirational and practical.
Week 1
Deepening and Sustaining Connections: Relationships are critical in providing a source of support and resilience for people managing workplace challenges.
Eileen Snyder is a career coach and corporate trainer, with a background in organizational development. Eileen is currently in private practice, assisting career professionals navigate the complexities of the marketplace post-covid. She has presented and published on career topics for the National Career Development Association, Mid-Atlantic Career Counseling Association, and the Maryland Career Development Association. She is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator and licensed to interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
