Ages 3 and up. Join us  with the Edelman Fossil Park and Museum to learn about dinosaurs and some of EFM's famous fossils found right on the property. This program includes a lesson from a scientist, an opportunity to touch real fossils and specimens, and an activity station.

Ages 8 - 12. In this super-secret meeting, join museum staff as we learn about the spies of the Revolution! From shopkeepers and mystery women to enslaved men who served as double agents, let’s discover who these spies were and how they operated undercover. We’ll solve some of our puzzles, uncover some secret messages, and discover why George Washington thought spies were essential to the Continental Army’s victory.

(A) Drawing for Grown-Ups: Celebrate the Beauty of Summer

Adults. Drawing for Grown-Ups covers drawing fundamentals like line, value, form, composition, negative space, and color. Students are not required to have attended previous Drawing for Grown Ups courses. This beginner friendly course is part of the Drawing for Grown Ups series hosted by Jen Tracy, professional illustrator. Students are not required to have attended previous Drawing for Grown Ups courses.

Adult students will work in the trompe l'oel style to create a beautiful drawing of natural summer items like sea shells, flowers, and leaves. These drawings can be used as summer decor or as a seasonal postcard to a friend. Trompe L'Oel is French for fool the eye. This class will teach the basics of shadow and light so adults of all skill levels can gain the confidence to draw in this popular style.
