Ages 6 - 12. On July 4th, 2026, the Declaration of Independence will celebrate 250 years! But what exactly is this special document that we honor each year on its birthday? Come along with a museum educator to discover what the Declaration is, why it was created, and why the important ideas inside it mattered in 1776—and still do today—through engaging, hands-on activities.

(K) Way of the Warrior: Yoga for Kids

Ages 6-12. Come bend, breathe, and stretch with Project Little Warriors! We offer yoga and mindfulness classes for youth, combining movement, breathwork, intention-setting, and a short activity to support emotional regulation, confidence, and both physical and mental well-being. Each class is accessible to all levels and designed to help students build practical tools for stress relief and self-awareness. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat or a towel to practice on. Registration is required.

Come join us at the Bellmawr Library for a tween craft night! In this program, we are going to use recycled paper to make our very own seed bombs that you can plant at home and watch grow! ! Registration is required for this program. Registration for this event will open on Wednesday 7/1 at 10:00 A.M. and close on Monday 7/13 at 9:00 P.M. or when the registration list is full, whichever occurs first.

(T) Still Life Drawing

Ages 10 to 14.

This 1-hour art lesson introduces tweens to observational drawing through a seasonal still life. Students will learn and practice contour line drawing, shading techniques, and colored pencil application. Using seasonal objects as inspiration, they will focus on careful observation, proportion, and adding depth and detail to their drawings through light, shadow, and color.

Registration is required for this program. Registration will open on Monday 7/6 at 10:00 A.M. and close on Saturday 7/18 at 9:00 P.M. or whenever the registration list becomes full, whichever occurs first.
