Tweens and Teens Ages 9-18 Love to knit or crochet? Bring your hooks, needles, and yarn to the library for a cozy afternoon of crafting and conversation! Whether you're working on a project or just want to relax and create, this is the perfect space to unwind with fellow makers.

Never tried knitting or crocheting before? No problem! Come join us, and we’ll teach you the basics so you can get started. Don’t have your own supplies? We’ve got you covered! A selection of materials will be available for use during the program.

Everyone is welcome—let’s stitch, chat, and create together!

Ages 9 - 17. Originating in Asia, particularly within Hindu and Muslim cultures, Henna has a long history, dating back to ancient Egypt and India where it is used for body decoration and rituals. Learn about Henna’s healing and cosmetic properties, and about traditional henna tattoo designs.  Design your own henna tattoo, after which a professional face and body artist will apply your tattoo using organic henna paste.
