Ages 8 – 12. Welcome to Color Our World Summer Reading Camp at the Ferry Avenue Branch! Explore different colors through reading, science, art, and other fun activities. Register for one week or all four.

Week One: Exploring the Color Blue. July 7 – 10. 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Activities include: Lunch and an afternoon snack, quiet reading time, science experiments, arts & crafts and exploring colors.

All ages. Join us for an open house musical petting zoo for children! Stop by the library between 10:30 - 12:00 to take part in this interactive exhibit that features acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles, keyboards, and dozens of percussion instruments for kids of all ages to touch and play. (K) Museum of the American Revolution: Life at Sea!

Ages 6-11.
Climb aboard as we learn about life on a privateer ship, including what, as a sailor, you might have eaten, what your job might have been, and how you would have passed the time. Meet some of the Revolution’s most famous sailors, like Philadelphian James Forten, learn how to fire a cannon while fighting off the British, and get ready to help us create our own “tall tale” from the high seas!
