(Y/A) Junk Journaling Night! The Beginning of Something Beautiful.
Wednesday, December 16, 2026 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Age 17 & Up! What treasures are hiding in your junk drawer? Join Diana for a fun and relaxing evening of junk journaling, where everyday ephemera becomes art.
We'll start by creating the base of a junk journal and explore how items like old postcards, ticket stubs, receipts, photos, fabric scraps, and decorative papers can be transformed into unique and meaningful pages. There are no rules and no artistic experience required, just a willingness to experiment and create.
Bring a collection of nostalgic paper treasures and leave with the beginnings of a journal that's uniquely yours.
Registration required.
Feel free to bring:
- Envelopes
- Paper doilies
- Vintage photos
- Clothing tags
- Scrap fabric or lace
- Postcards, maps, or tickets
- Receipts
- Homemade paper
- Stickers
The goal is to repurpose everyday ephemera - the more personal or nostalgic, the better.
We will be meeting in the Youth Services Meeting Room, located on the first floor of library in the Children's Department.
