This presentation by Muneerah Higgs, will chronicle the history of Lawnside, New Jersey. It will provide participants an opportunity to learn about the largely hidden history of the African American Experience. They will specifically learn how freedom seekers escaped bondage, arrived in Lawnside, New Jersey and developed a thriving community.
