Calling all teen writers! The Teen Writing Club meets the first Wednesday of the month to share our works in progress, provide feedback on others' material, and enjoy some snacks! Bringing some of your own writing is encouraged, though we will also be doing some writing activities during the meetings. Register here or email akolakowski@camdencountylibrary.org to sign up!

Ages 8 – 12. Welcome to Color Our World Summer Reading Camp at the Ferry Avenue Branch! Explore different colors through reading, science, art, and other fun activities. Register for one week or all four.

Week One: Exploring the Color Blue. July 7 – 10. 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Activities include: Lunch and an afternoon snack, quiet reading time, science experiments, arts & crafts and exploring colors.

(K) Museum of the American Revolution: Life at Sea!

Ages 6-11.
Climb aboard as we learn about life on a privateer ship, including what, as a sailor, you might have eaten, what your job might have been, and how you would have passed the time. Meet some of the Revolution’s most famous sailors, like Philadelphian James Forten, learn how to fire a cannon while fighting off the British, and get ready to help us create our own “tall tale” from the high seas!
