Virtual
(A) The Eclipse and Our Wild Star
Wednesday, April 3, 2024 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Ages 10 - Up.
The sun is a fascinating object, for which we now have incredible images and videos that are truly awe-inspiring. Our star is something astronomers are constantly learning about, leading to more questions as it reveals itself through our observations and experiments. Learn all about the sun and its role in the upcoming eclipse, as well as how eclipses work, how often they occur, and optimal locations for viewing eclipses. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation. Presented by Zach Lichtmann, a NASA Solar System Ambassador.
This is a virtual program. Zoom invitations will be sent the day of the presentation.
