Downtown Camden

(A) VITA Tax Prep

Saturday, February 8, 2025 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Trained volunteers from Rutgers-Camden meet with clients on:

  • Thursdays: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
  • Fridays: 1:00 – 4:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Each session is first-come/first-served (no appointments). Once the client schedule is full for the day, the volunteers offer “drop-off” service. To drop off, please plan about 30-45 minutes to meet with a volunteer. After your return is prepared, usually within 2-3 weeks, a volunteer will call you to come back to review and sign.

  • First session: Thursday, January 23, 2025
  • Last session: Saturday, April 5, 2025

Required documents:

  • Social Security Card for yourself, spouse, and any dependents (no copies!)
  • Proof of health insurance
  • Valid, government-issued photo ID for both spouses
  • W-2 & 1099 form(s)

Parking on weekdays: city meters are $1.25/hour -- quarters, credit card, or app
Parking on Saturdays: Rutgers faculty lots are free, no tag required
