(T,Y,A) Hunger Games Trivia Night

This program is intended for tweens, teens, and adults (ages 11 and up).

Get excited for the release of the Sunrise on the Reaping movie with a cutthroat Hunger Games trivia night! Okay, maybe it won’t be cutthroat (we are the public library, after all), but it IS still Hunger Games themed! We will do 4 rounds of trivia, and at the end the tributes with the top three scores will receive AMC gift cards to see Sunrise on the Reaping! As a note, no victory tour will be required for our victors! Due to limited spaces, registration is required. Registration will open on Wednesday 11/4 and close on Monday 11/16 or when the list becomes full, whichever occurs first.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.

(Y/A) The Art of Primitive Paper Making!

Ages 17 and Up Celebrate the colors and textures of fall with an evening of handmade paper! We’ll use natural materials such as flower petals and leaves to create beautiful layers and capture the feeling of the season.

Please dress to mess! Papermaking can get a little wet and messy.

To safely transport your handmade paper home to dry, please bring:

A clean, dry towel

A cookie sheet

Pro Tip: A smooth, woven cotton dish towel will leave your paper with a smoother surface. Terry cloth or fluffy towels may transfer their texture onto your paper.

Registration is required. Space and supplies are limited.

We will meet in the Youth Services Meeting Room on the first floor of the library.
