(A) Excel 3-Week Series: Beyond Basic Formulas

In this advanced beginner class, we'll delve into logical formulas, text formulas, lookup formulas, and more.

This is part of a three-class series. Additional classes are Tuesday, May 19 (Excel for Beginners) and Tuesday, June 16 (Tools to Start Exploring and Analyzing Data).

The series will be repeated.

We are on the Rutgers-Camden campus, in the same building as the Rutgers Library but have our own entrance.

Accessibility: We are down one flight of stairs or one level on the 401 Penn elevator on the south side of the building.

Security officers outside can help direct you. 

Parking: Meters on the street are city meters, $1.25 an hour — quarters, credit card, or app.

The parking lot across the street is only open to Rutgers staff on weekdays.

Mass transit: NJ Transit bus to the Walter Rand Transportation Center, Riverline to Rutgers/Cooper St., or Patco to City Hall.

(A)Paper Voices: A Zine‑Making Workshop

Ages 17 - Adults Be a Zinester! Zines are bold, messy, expressive, and fun—and in this workshop, you’ll learn how to make one from scratch. Explore cut‑and‑paste collage, creative writing, drawing, and layout tricks as you build a zine that reflects your voice and style. Zines are small, DIY booklets that can be anything you want—art, poetry, collage, storytelling, activism, fandom, or pure self‑expression.

All materials are provided. Bring your ideas, your imagination, and your favorite markers if you have them. Perfect for anyone who loves art, storytelling, or DIY culture.

(A) Book Tasting Club

"Sample" 10 books of all genres at our book tasting and you may find your next favorite author or series.  Participants will have four minutes to read from each book (you can choose to read from the beginning, middle, or end!)  and record their initial impressions. Brief discussion will follow. 

Book Tasting is held on the third Wednesday of every month. Please feel free to bring a snack with you.

Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are invited to join Amanda from Farm Friends to be the story time teacher to an audience of cute little bunnies! Bring a book or choose one from the library's collection.

Do you love to watch movies and debate every detail about the cinematography, characters, director, and plot? If you are, you will enjoy the Kanopy Movie Buff Film Club! We select an independent, foreign, award-winning, or classic film and have interesting discussions.
