(V) Museum of the American Revolution: When Women Lost the Vote

Virtual program. Few people know that for about 30 years during the Revolutionary era, certain women and free people of African descent had the right to vote in New Jersey. Learn the little-known history of the nation’s first women voters and examine the political conflicts that led to their voting rights being stripped away in 1807.  (This is a virtual program; link will be emailed the day of the program to the email address provided during registration ). Program is presented by the Museum of the American Revolution.
