Teens and adults ages 15 and up. Craft & Chat is a relaxed, social crafting program for teens and adults. Each month, we’ll work on a different simple project while chatting and connecting with others. No prior experience needed—just come ready to create, relax, and enjoy good company. Registration is required.

This month's project: Mod Podge Pumpkins! Decorate faux pumpkins with patterned napkins and mod podge to create your own custom DIY fall decor.

(K) Mini Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Ages 0-5

Ages 0-5. Caregivers do not need to register, so please only register children.

Celebrate the fall season by decorating your own mini pumpkin and enter our contest to win a prize! Pumpkins and supplies will be available. Simply come in, decorate, and leave your name and point of contact in case you get chosen as the winner. And in the meantime, you can have your pumpkin displayed in the library as decoration!

The winning participant will be notified within a week after the contest. To avoid the pumpkins going rotten, we ask all participants to pick up their entrees within at most two weeks after the contest.

This contest will be divided into two categories: one for ages 0-5 and one for ages 6-11. Please make sure to sign your child(ren) up for the correct category.

(A) Sewing Machines 101: Potholders

Have you ever wanted to learn to use a sewing machine but didn’t know where to start? Come and join us at the Bellmawr library for Sewing Machines 101! In this program, patrons will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and then use their new knowledge to make their own beginner friendly potholder! Because space and supplies are limited, registration is required for this program. Registration will open on Wednesday 9/23 at 10:00 A.M., and close on Monday 10/5 at 9:00 P.M. or whenever the registration list becomes full, whichever occurs first.

Note: This program will take place on October 7th, November 9th, and December 9th. Please only register for one session.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.
