(Y) A Call for Teen Volunteers: Program Helpers

Ages 14- 17

Looking to earn volunteer hours while having fun? Join us for a family movie event featuring The Good Dinosaur! This is a great opportunity to watch a movie, enjoy a simple craft, and interact with children and their families.

Please note: Volunteer spots are limited and in high demand. Registration is required to participate.

When registering, please provide a personal email address—do not use a school email.

Details:

Open to teens ages 14–17

Please arrive by 10:45 AM to sign in and get acquainted with your tasks

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Assist at the snack table

Help organize and manage craft supplies

Create a warm and welcoming environment for families

Stay until 1:00 PM to help with light cleanup, including:Sweeping up snack crumbs

Packing away craft materials

Important Reminders:

Registered volunteers will receive a reminder email—please check your email and confirm your commitment

No-shows or failure to respond may result in being restricted from future volunteer opportunities

Chad Juros is an award winning entertainer who has been honored to share his magic and inspirational story for audiences across the world for over 20 years. (A) Excel 3-Week Series: Tools to Start Exploring and Analyzing Data

In this advanced beginner class, we'll look at ways you can start making meaning of your data, including data cleanup, changing your dataset into a table, sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, and pivot tables.

This is part of a three-class series. Additional classes are Tuesday, June 2 (Excel for Beginners) and Tuesday, June 16 (Beyond Basic Formulas).

The series will be repeated.

(A) Craft & Chat: Beaded Plant Decor 🪴

Teens and adults ages 15 and up. Craft & Chat is a relaxed, social crafting program for teens and adults. Each month, we’ll work on a different simple project while chatting and connecting with others. No prior experience needed—just come ready to create, relax, and enjoy good company. Registration is required.

This month's project: Beaded Plant Decor! "Unearth a Story" and learn how to make viral beaded plant decorations. Add your own twist with unique beads, a painted pot, or a suncatcher addition.
