(Y) Teen Volunteer Sign-Ups and Orientation

Attention teens aged 13 - 18! If you are interested in volunteering over the summer at the Voorhees Branch of the Camden County Library System, you must attend one of the three sign-up and orientation events. Please note that volunteering opportunities are subject to staff availability and suitable projects. Additionally, if you are under 16, you must obtain your parent or guardian's signature granting you permission to volunteer.

My name is Rebecca and I am a board game designer. I designed my first game Annapurna and brought it to market in 2020, and now I’m doing it again! I am going to share the process that goes into making a game and more importantly, play Annapurna with you! If that sounds fun come and join me!

Ages 12-18.

Learn about how to be a supportive ally to the LGBTQ community with Marlee Kimmick from the RWJBarnabas Health Institute for Prevention and Recovery. Plus enjoy some snacks and Pride swag!

Proud Youth Prevention Network (PYPN) is a subset of RWJBH’s Institute for Prevention and Recovery. The goal of PYPN is to create and enhance youth-driven prevention services for LGBTQ+ young people in the Southern Region of New Jersey. One of the ways we hope to support these communities is through providing training opportunities to our community partners.

Assist with weeding, watering, harvesting, and other tasks as needed in the garden! No gardening knowledge or experience is required.  

Volunteer times will be the following Wednesday evenings 7:30pm-8:30pm for teens 13-17: June 19th, July 10th, 17th, 31st, and August 7th, 21st, and 28th.

Ages 15 - Up The Ukulele Circle returns to South County every first and third Wednesday of the month. Join Mr. Roy Cox and other ukulele enthusiasts for an hour of playing and learning new songs together. All Skill levels are welcome. There will be a few ukuleles available for new players to use.

Ages 15 - Up    Do you knit or crochet and would like to meet other likeminded crafters?  Join our intergenerational group of knitters and crocheters on the third Thursdays of the month.
