Event Description

Calling all crafters! Drop off your unused craft supplies and pick up some new ones at our Craft Supply Swap on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11:30am-1:30pm! No registration is required and crafters of all ages are welcome. The event will take place on the first floor of the Voorhees Branch.

You can drop off supplies from Monday, January 6th, 2025 through Friday, February 21st, 2025 at the circulation desk on the first floor of the Voorhees Branch.

No supplies to donate? No worries - you are welcome to attend the Craft Supply Swap and load up on new items!

A few guidelines:

  • Donations should be in good condition (clean and usable) and be able to fit in a car.

  • Please place small craft supplies in resealable bags or containers before donating

  • No open containers of glue, paint, or other liquids, please (sealed, unopened containers are okay!)

  • Any donated items left at the end of the program will be considered a donation to the library. 

Each person will be allowed to fill one bag with supplies. Please remember to bring your own bag to the Craft Supply Swap (as per NJ Law).

This engaging and impactful event is designed to "spark career curiosity" for kids ages 8 to 14 (older and younger are also welcome) and their families as they learn about the work that people do every day in a fun and interactive way. With hands-on activities, demos, games, and giveaways, everyone will take home a headful of career insights, ideas, and inspiration!

Educational Fun for Everyone: Kids have a blast while gaining valuable insights into possible career pathways.

Inspiration for the Future: Exposure to various professions allows youth to appreciate the many different jobs people do and consider their own future careers.

Family Time: Spend time together as a family, exploring interests and discovering new ones.
