Be Smart Presentation

August 24–28, 2026, is the third annual SMART Week. SMART week promotes secure gun storage to prevent kids under 18 and other unauthorized users from accessing guns. 76% of school shooters under the age of 18 got the gun from the home of a relative or friend. SMART Week is a time to spread the word on the critical importance of secure gun storage to prevent injury.

Camden County Health Department has teamed up with Moms Demand Action. Join us in Room A on the 3rd floor to explore steps that everyone can take to be smart about gun safety.  Free gun locks for the first 10 registrants.

This program is presented by Brenda Pollack, LCSW, Be SMART Lead, Moms Demand Action SNJ.
