(A) Drawing for Grown-Ups: Spirit of Halloween Still Life

Adult.

This spooky class will focus on the basics of drawing so grown-ups can gain pride in their artistic skill. Students will make a Halloween drawing to be used as decoration or greeting card.

Drawing for Grown-Ups is an ongoing course that covers drawing fundamentals like line, value, form, composition, negative space, and color. Students are not required to have attended previous Drawing for Grown Ups courses.

In this class, students will draw using the provided Halloween themed still life for reference or work on a piece of their own choosing under the guidance of Jen Tracy, professional illustrator.

The goal of this workshop is to give adults the confidence they need to embrace drawing more often in their personal life. Daily drawing practices improve cognitive skills like memory, emotional regulation, and hand eye coordination.
