(A) Community Reentry Book Club

This group is a partnership between the library and the Camden County Reentry Committee. We read and discuss books by and about individuals who have been impacted by time incarcerated in jails, prisons, or detention, as well as books about the history, politics, and geography of systems of incarceration.

This month, we'll read together the first section of These Walls: The Battle for Rikers Island and the Future of America's Jails by Eva Fedderly. We'll conclude our discussion of this title at our June meeting.

Copies to keep will be available (first come, first served).

(K) Early Chapter Book Club

Grades K-2, with a caregiver. Join Mr. Tate for a monthly book club! Each session will start with a guided discussion of that month's book, followed by a themed activity or craft, and a snack. This month's book is Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot by Dav Pilkey. Registration is open April 20-May 4. You will receive an email when your copy of this month's book is ready to be picked up from the library.

"Sample" 10 books of all genres at our book tasting and you may find your next favorite author or series.  Participants will have four minutes to read from each book (you can choose to read from the beginning, middle, or end!)  and record their initial impressions. Brief discussion will follow. 

Book Tasting is held on the third Wednesday of every month. Please feel free to bring a snack with you.
