We meet the first Thursday of every month at 6 PM to discuss books by queer and trans authors across a variety of genres. Connect with fellow readers, share your thoughts, and discover great stories in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Calling all 3rd–5th graders! Join Epic Reads Squad—the ultimate book squad where stories turn into adventures. Each meeting, we’ll dive into an awesome book, share our thoughts, and then keep the fun going with a themed activity inspired by the story.

✅ Important: Keep an eye out for an email notification that your book is ready to be picked up from the Voorhees Library Youth Services Department. Please read the book ahead of time and come ready to discuss!

(A) Community Reentry Book Club

This group is a partnership between the library and the Camden County Reentry Committee. We read and discuss books by and about individuals who have been impacted by time incarcerated in jails, prisons, or detention, as well as books about the history, politics, and geography of systems of incarceration.

This month, we'll conclude our discussion of The Many Lives of Mama Love: A Memoir of Lying, Stealing, Writing and Healing by Lara Love Hardin.
