Ages 2-8 with a caregiver.

Join us at the library with Mlanjeni Magical Theater for a fun, interactive look at the drums of Africa and various rhythms and the spread of drum beats to American folk musloc in tambourines, spoons, and cow bells. Be ready for lots of audience participation!

Join us for ¡Hablemos Español!, a fun and interactive Spanish conversational program designed especially for children ages 5–10. Each 45–60-minute session introduces kids to everyday Spanish words and phrases through songs, games, stories, movement activities, and simple dialogues. Every week features a new theme—greetings, feelings, colors, food, family, and more—helping children build confidence while practicing real conversational Spanish. Perfect for beginners, this engaging program makes learning a new language exciting, creative, and full of joy!

(Y)Cupcake Decorating for Teens; Valentine's Edition

Teens ages 12 - 17

Join us for another fun and creative session of cupcake decorating with Desserts by Allison! Teens will learn how to fill piping bags with icing and use specialty tips to design adorable cupcakes—just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Important Details:

Teens with allergy concerns are welcome to bring their own cupcakes.

The icing used will be a basic buttercream recipe (butter, powdered sugar, and food coloring).

Registration is required. Space is limited to 15 teens.
Registration will open 1/21/26 and close on 2/05/26
Two days before the program, the librarian will email you to confirm your registration. Please respond promptly—spots may be given to waitlisted teens if we don’t hear back.
