(A) South County Vegetable and Herb Show
Saturday, August 2, 2025 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
What: Show off your harvest this year at our produce show! Ribbons will be awarded 1st-3rd for each class and 1 Best in Show will receive a gift card to Dambly’s Garden Center.
Tips for selecting produce: Choose mature specimens that are free from blemishes. If a class calls for more than one, choose specimens that match each other in size and color as much as possible.
When: Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. Produce may be dropped off the day before*, August 1st, or the day of the show from 10am-11am. Judging will start at 11am and the room will be closed for the duration. After judging, the room will open and winners will be announced. All produce must be picked up by 4:30pm – otherwise it will be discarded.
*please note that produce brought in the day before will not be refrigerated.
Rules:
- All entries must be grown and selected by the entrant.
- Pre-registration of entries strongly encouraged.
- If an entry doesn’t have the correct number of specimens per the class list, it will be disqualified.
- Vegetable entries will be provided with paper plates. Herb entries must be brought in a container with water.
- All entries will be judged on quality, condition, and uniformity.

- Herbs (1 sprig – must be in water – must provide own container )

- Peppers (2 specimens)
- Bell
