(A) The Zine Collective; Analog Collage Edition

Adults & Teens Ages 15+

Join The Zine Collective, an evening devoted to self‑expression, creativity, and community. Zines are powerful little booklets that tell stories, share emotions, and communicate ideas through a blend of images, words, and imagination.

We’ll kick things off with a brief introduction at 6:30 PM to help spark inspiration and guide you into the creative process.

This session features collage‑based zine pages. Each participant will design a single 8" × 5" collage page, which will be copied and combined into a collaborative multi‑page zine. If enough pages are completed, everyone will take home their own copy—and we’ll proudly add one to the library’s growing zine collection!

Come create, collaborate, and express yourself.
Seasoned zinesters are encouraged to bring their favorite images, stickers, or papers. The library will also provide plenty of newspapers, magazines, text snippets, and stickers for everyone to explore.

What is a Memory Café?

A memory café is a social gathering for those who are experiencing early-stage dementia, mild memory loss, or mild cognitive impairment, and for their families, friends, or caregivers. The Memory Café at the Gloucester Township Branch welcomes adults experiencing memory loss, particularly early-onset dementia, and their caregivers. Enjoy a safe space for socializing with light refreshments and activities like trivia, crafting, games, and gentle exercise—all designed to foster connection and enhance well-being. For participants who require a caregiver, we kindly ask that the caregiver stay for the duration of the program.
