Adults. Ever heard of a zine? A zine (short for magazine or fanzine) is a small, handmade publication that can include anything from personal stories and poetry to art, photography, collages, and social commentary. It’s a creative, DIY way to express yourself and share your voice with others.

Join us for Zine Scene, a hands-on program for adults who want to explore this unique form of self-expression. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just curious, we’ll provide all the materials—paper, pens, collage supplies, and more—plus prompts to help spark your ideas. You’ll have the chance to create your own zine in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Ages 15 - Up The Ukulele Circle returns to South County every first and third Wednesday of the month. Join Mr. Roy Cox and other ukulele enthusiasts for an hour of playing and learning new songs together. All Skill levels are welcome. There will be a few ukuleles available for new players to use.

Join us at our First Memory Café and enjoy some music and pop culture throughout the decades. Light refreshments will be served.

Memory Cafes will be held on the third Thursday of the month, starting on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 10:30am-12:00pm.

Registration is recommended, but not required.

What is a Memory Café?

A memory café is a social gathering for those who are experiencing early-stage dementia, mild memory loss, or mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and for their families, friends, or care partners. The Memory Café at the Gloucester Township Branch welcomes adults experiencing memory loss, particularly early-onset dementia, and their caregivers. Enjoy a safe space for socializing with light refreshments and activities like crafting, games, and gentle exercise—all designed to foster connection and enhance well-being.

(A) Identifying & Preventing Financial Elder Abuse

Elder fraud is defined as a financial fraud scheme which targets seniors (60 years and older). Beginning in 2018, the FBI at a national level has worked tirelessly to educate this population on how to take steps to protect themselves from being victimized.

Please consider coming out to educate yourself and others on how to identify, prevent and report potential financial elder abuse.
