(A) Beginners Embroidery: Pumpkin

Come join us at the Bellmawr library for a beginners embroidery workshop! In this program, we will be using the satin stitch to embroider a pumpkin on a four inch hoop. This program is intended for adults. All materials will be provided. Seats and supplies are limited. Registration is required, and will close on 9/20 at 9:00 P.M. or when the class is at capacity, whichever comes first.
Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.

(T) Mexican Hojalata Tin Art with Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens

Ages 11-14.
Come join us at the Bellmawr library for a tween craft night! In this program, participants will use coloring, embossing, and punching techniques to make their own tin art! This program is presented by Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. Registration is required, and will close on Monday 9/22 at 9:00 P.M. or when the class is filled, whichever occurs first.

Adults

Take time to focus on self care through Art Journaling.

Each month, we will meet virtually to create a new journal spread with supplies provided by the library. No previous artistic experience needed, as we will all be learning together.

Registration opens September 4 and closes on September 23. Kits will go out after registration closes.

(T) DIY No Sew Upcycled T-Shirt Tote Bags

Ages 11 to 14.
Come join us at the Bellmawr library for a tween craft night! In this program, participants will learn how to upcycle an old t-shirt into a tote bag with lots of life left! All supplies will be provided, however participants are welcome to bring their own t-shirt to upcycle. This craft is perfect for those trick or treating to carry their Halloween loot in! Registration is required for this program due to limited supplies. Registration for this event will close on Friday 10/3 at 9:00 P.M. or when the registration list is full, whichever occurs first.
