Tweens and teens are invited to learn the basics of hand sewing while creating an adorable Pop‑Tart–inspired book bag charm. We’ll practice threading a needle, stitching felt pieces together, and adding a bit of stuffing to bring each charm to life.

No sewing experience needed—just bring your creativity and we’ll guide you step‑by‑step. Leave with a cute accessory you can clip to your backpack, gift to a friend, or proudly show off.

(A) Drawing for Grown-Ups: Drawing with Flower Power

Adult.

This all levels drawing class for adults will teach the mindful practice of drawing from life using a flowers and floral themed still life as reference. Students will draw colorful springtime decor using their own art supplies or the art supplies provided.

Drawing for Grown-Ups is an ongoing course that covers drawing fundamentals like line, value, form, composition, negative space, and color. Students are not required to have attended previous Drawing for Grown Ups courses.

Students will receive personal instruction that caters to their artistic needs. Everyone learns at their own pace. In this class, students will draw using the provided still life for reference or work on a piece of their own choosing under the guidance of Jen Tracy, professional illustrator.

Art supplies will be provided or bring your own.

(A) Craft & Chat: Lucky Stars ✨

Teens and adults ages 15 and up. Craft & Chat is a relaxed, social crafting program for teens and adults. Each month, we’ll work on a different simple project while chatting and connecting with others. No prior experience needed—just come ready to create, relax, and enjoy good company. Registration is not required, but registrants will receive event reminders and notices about cancellations.

This month's project: Lucky Stars! Learn how to fold charming Japanese lucky stars out of colorful strips of paper - create garlands for decoration, fill a jar for a boost of motivation and whimsy, or gift to a loved one for good luck.

(Y) DIY Slime Night

Ages 14 to 18.

Come join us at the Bellmawr library for a teen craft night! In this program, we will be making slime! Registration opens on Monday 4/20 at 10:00 A.M. and closes on Friday 5/1 at 9:00 P.M. or when registration is full, whichever occurs first.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.
