(K) La Hora del Cuento (Spanish Story Time)

For both English and Spanish speakers age 0-5. Join us for a fun and interactive Spanish Story Time! Children and their families will enjoy and learn through imitation of songs, rhymes, verses, stories, movements and hand-on activities while celebrating the Spanish language and Latin American culture. This program will contribute to the integral development of children, cultivating growth in imagination and meaningful exploration.

Ven y disfruta de una divertida e interactiva hora del cuento en Español! Los niñas y sus familias disfrutarán y aprenderán a través de la imitación de caciones, rimas, versos, cuentos, bailes y actividades prácticas mientras celebramos el idioma Español y la cultura Latino Americana. Este programa contribuirá al desarollo integral de Los niños, cultivando el crecimiento de la imaginación y la exploración significativa.

(Y) DIY Sensory Potion Bottle

Ages 14 to 18.

Come join us at the Bellmawr library for a teen craft night! In this program, participants will get in the Halloween spirit and make their own sensory bottles that look like mystical potion bottles! Because spaces and supplies are limited, registration is required for this program. Registration will open on Wednesday 9/30 at 10:00 A.M., and close on Monday 10/12 at 9:00 P.M. or whenever the registration list becomes full, whichever occurs first.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.

(A) Community Reentry Book Club

This group is a partnership between the library and the Camden County Reentry Committee. We read and discuss books by and about individuals who have been impacted by time incarcerated in jails, prisons, or detention, as well as books about the history, politics, and geography of systems of incarceration.

This month we'll begin our discussion of Eating Behind Bars: Ending the Hidden Punishment of Food in Prison by Leslie Soble, Alex Busansky, and Aishatu R. Yusuf.

Copies to keep will be available (first come, first served).
