(K) Let's Talk About Racism: Finding Your Voice and Making a Difference

Grades 3-5
We invite caregivers and their children in grades 3-5 to participate in an age appropriate presentation where they will be introduced to the concept of racism through books, videos and discussion. There is no better time to start then now given the current climate of the country. The goal of this presentation is to engage children at an early age so they are prepared to have discussions with their friends and others about racism as well as become anti-racist activists in their own way. It is our hope that this will be the beginning of a life- long journey for these little ones. Presented by Naja Macon, MSW, LSW, Mother of 3
