Elder fraud is defined as a financial fraud scheme which targets seniors (60 years and older). Beginning in 2018, the FBI at a national level has worked tirelessly to educate this population on how to take steps to protect themselves from being victimized.

Please consider coming out to educate yourself and others on how to identify, prevent and report potential financial elder abuse.

(Y) Time Management 101

Ages 12 - 14 This 90-minute workshop will walk each participant through managing a schedule. They will be presented with tasks involving school assignments, home chores, social events, appointments, and other tasks. The mission is to allocate tasks using a planner. After a brief lecture, they will have to manage a 168 -hour week, 24 hours a day, of which they must allocate 8 hours to sleep and 2 hours for meals. This will leave them 14 hours per day to plan out the tasks.

(T) Lenape Coil Pots with Wild Jersey

Come join us at the Bellmawr library for a tween craft night! In this program, participants will make their own coil pot out of clay and learn about NJ’s native people, the Lenape tribe, and how they lived! This program is presented by Wild Jersey. Registration is required, will open on 12/1 at 10:00 A.M. and close on 12/12 at 9:00 P.M. or when the class is filled, whichever occurs first.

Accessibility info: The library is located all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the building, and the front doors to the building are automatic. The doors into the library portion of the building can be opened with an accessible button.
