Memory Cafes will be held on the third Thursday of the month, starting on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 10:30am-12:00pm.

What is a Memory Café?

A memory café is a social gathering for those who are experiencing early-stage dementia, mild memory loss, or mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and for their families, friends, or care partners. The Memory Café at the Gloucester Township Branch welcomes adults experiencing memory loss, particularly early-onset dementia, and their caregivers. Enjoy a safe space for socializing with light refreshments and activities like crafting, games, and gentle exercise—all designed to foster connection and enhance well-being.

Elder fraud is defined as a financial fraud scheme which targets seniors (60 years and older). Beginning in 2018, the FBI at a national level has worked tirelessly to educate this population on how to take steps to protect themselves from being victimized.

Please consider coming out to educate yourself and others on how to identify, prevent and report potential financial elder abuse.
